Ex-Library, rebound in black buckram. 406 pp. Bookplate to pastedown; ink stamp to dedication page; foredge of 371-376 repaired; a few other corners or nicks repaired too; light browning throughout. A flawed, ex-library copy of a scarce book. Crozier, a Confederate lieutenant, wrote this book soon after leaving the army with the goal of starting a genre of literature from the South's point of view.
