Hardcover 8vos., full ornamented brown calf; spine labels have chipped off leaving only an embossed indentation of the title and volume number. Engraved vignette portrait on both title pages. Bold, clean text with only a hint of foxing to the earliest pages; outer hinges rubbed and scuffed, but bindings still secure and supple; light scratching and scuffing to the boards as well; chip to crown of spine of volume 2; bottom corner of pages 3/4 of volume 2 with small loss, text unaffected. A nice set of this classic poem. 2 volume set.
